Curious on what you have learnt about the Hermes Agent today, and what have done?

1 of the 1st tasks that got resolved because of Hermes Agent for me: it helped me to organize and clean 2 Google Workspace and 1 personal Gmail account. .. the largest gmail had 70400+ unanswered emails.. 2 of these were out of control and I had already given up on a hope to clean these in near future.

recently discovered that, when using your Hermes Desktop Agent - you need to do lots and lots of updates constantly.. and, after every reset > the preferred LLM models reset..

just ran this to make sure every time I update and/or restart my Desktop Hermes Agent = the main model is and stays: gpt 5.6 terra (and the our one - not the one by Nous portal.. the first attempt resulted in all profiles being switched over to Nous portal gpt terra):

switch all my Hermes Agent profiles to our OpenAI Codex (chatgpt subscription) gpt 5.6 terra (medium) by default + this should also be the case after Hermes Agent desktop app is updated and/or restarted

just learnt yesterday how to properly connect Grok when out of credits (switching Grok subscriptions)

1st: signing out > need to sign out using terminal:

hermes auth logout xai-oauth

next: preparing the X subscription you will use:
1) open X and choose a profile that haven't been used
2) go to grok.com > log out of the previous account and log back in with X
3) bottom left corner > click on your name and choose Settings
4) next >> check the usage = proceed only if you have 0%

next: connect your Hermes to X

.. when out of usage > rinse and repeat with another X subscription

Note: X allows resetting "Usage" .. though, I have noted that you get only something like 11-18% after you have reset your Usage = and your Hermes will show again that you are out of credits.
I have just reset the Usage and can't go further as Hermes says to me that I don't have any usage left with Grok, even despite this:

Today I used Hermes Agent to review current public DNForum discussions around expired domains, Pending Delete, backorders, alerts, and acquisition monitoring.

It helped me separate genuine unresolved workflow questions from sales listings, appraisals, and other founders’ product threads.

My biggest lesson was that keyword overlap is not product fit. A popular thread containing “expired domain” can still be the wrong place to mention a monitoring tool.

While building and testing SparkNamer, I kept running into the same fragmented workflow:

1. Discover a domain in one tool.
2. Save it in a spreadsheet, registrar watchlist, or notes.
3. Recheck WHOIS/RDAP, auctions, backorders, and registrar pages manually.
4. Try to remember what changed and what action comes next.

The biggest mistake is treating the expiration date as the acquisition date.

An expired domain may still move through renewal/grace, redemption, Pending Delete, an auction or closeout path, or another registrar-specific process. Even when the status changes, the domain may...

Thanks, Helmuts. My primary setup is currently GPT-5.6 Sol/Terra through OpenAI Codex, with fallback models depending on the task and available usage.

The biggest improvement for me has been separating research, verification, and execution instead of asking one session to do everything. That has been especially useful when reviewing domain-investor workflows without turning every relevant keyword into a product pitch

I have hosted it on the cloud to schedule tasks that I would do every week and send everything to Discord. It can obviously link to Google Workspaces and such, but I am trying to host Obsidian Live Vault (have you used Obsidian? a note-taking app) so that it uploads its work or documentation there after the work is done -> Discord will be used to notify only, or something. Will have to dive into this further
