For Sale Good dropped .com names?

can anyone post here any really, really good .com names that have dropped recently? Some people tell me that good ones do not drop anymore and I seem to agree so far. I mean not many names I see are very good to me. thanks for the help!

Hey cluelessdomainer,

Check out www.deleteddomains.com and use their power search option.

Check out the names that are on hold in the last 24 hours, under 7 letters. A lot of very good names often expire.

This mainly happends because:

-People change their e-mail address and do not get notified when there domain is up.

-Also people loose intrest in a website and forget about it, not thinking that the domain they bought 5 years ago would be worth anything today.

You do, however, have to be lucky to get a high valued expiring domain.

cluelessdomainer, if the domain is for you then it's all about what seems good to you. If it's for sale, it's all about what seems good to potential buyers.

I'll tell you what i found from my own experience:

Trust yourself, build your won tools, maintain your own database, do your own lookups.

Whatever there is available right now if used by everyone. Everyone and their cousin's dogs to be exact.

SnapNames, NameWInner, etc. are ok for once you found the little gem, but to find it, you have to do the work yourslef.

Chances are that if you look at all the free and paid expired and on-hold lists, all the good names will have snaps on them by the time you go check them out. Why? Because the people that have the snaps didnt wait for the lists to show the names, they knew months in advance because they did the search, they put in the work.

Thats the table after the names are dropped and registered by buydomains and so on, not before the drop

Check out www.DomainPond.com. If you're looking for
one word domains click on the Reports link and select
one word expired, expiring or on-hold from the bottom
list.

You will often find some pretty good names there.

If you're looking for a way to search, click on the search
button and you can search through the recently expired
dictionary domains.

Clueless, thanks for the positive feedback.

Do I use it? Well, I'm more of a programmer than a domainer
so not all that much currently.

I still register good names when I come across them so
I know what features most speculators look for and I
implement them.
