How long have Goog been saying what your split is? Just gone into my adsense account and see next to Adsense for content: 68 % publisher revenue share and Adsense for search: 51 % publisher revenue share

How long have been disclosing this info?

what's the song
oriental chick
something long long time
gimme some sex long long time or something

LOL

what they don't disclose is it's BS

what they get over 100 cpc for on their SE is often almost NOTHING on adsense sites

so who knows if the 'numbers' are being cooked

I see stuff that goes for X a click on their SE then Y on partners and content sites yet when you also have Z to analysis what the content publishers get, NOTHING jives

So they're a monopoly and while they have disclosed ratios, you still have to 'trust' google as to if you're getting the piece of the right number

IOP you're not

but they're google, a monopoly so 50% or 68% of a wrong number is better than nothing for most

but eventually someone with info from all 3 sectors will call them on it

nice class action

how can you charge cpc for SE at X and content at Y to a SEM managed account and then a managed adsense account is showing the Y you are charging buyers is not the same Y you are giving a piece of to publishers

LOL

so, yeah they claim you get a % of the revenue, but the bottom line is, if you manage both ends of the google equation you see the numbers are being worked by google

so expect a class action eventually on all this

google is charging Y to buyers and claiming Y is way less to publishers

that's OUR OPINION based on doing both type of account management for clients

we manage both types of deals, adwords for buyers and adsense for developers

so we know the Y they charge to buyers and that is NOT the Y they pay developers on

anyone else agree with this, are does no one here but us really mange adwords and adsense and see the variances

google has some huge litigation coming it's way soon

they're cooking the books IOP (in our opinion)

but they are a major revenue stream for adsense developers

I hate getting ripped off and I hate seeing clients getting ripped off

so we do all types of high end analysis and security checks for clients

we catch google errors ALL THE TIME

they never admit to them usually

but the logs don't lie

they make plenty of mistakes

so if you live off google adsense

yeah the % has been revealed for a long long time

oh that song

me love u long long time...

me love u long long time

hehehe

google's been F*ing u long long time

I don't think that's true.
Perhaps more like 10%

I remember a 'leaked' email from Sedo or Google a few years ago where it was stated that Google first took off 15% of for 'costs' and then divided the remaining 85% with Sedo 50/50, so Sedo only got 42.5%. So somehow I do not see how Google are paying anything like the percentages you have seen, perhaps this is just the bottom line number after all of the Google deductions?

Just my jaundiced view of parking and CPC I guess.

At first I was unable to see this, but it turns out that I was looking in the wrong place.
After signing in, it's in the "My Account" tab, and my numbers are the same...

It's been a few months... since they started with the new beta interface for Adsense, I believe.

if you guys were around when GOOGLE WAS NO BODY
that's how they got their traffic
they offered bigger traffic sites 51% of the revenue if you put their NOTHING search box on your sites

LOL

oh I forgot no one here was anybody back then

LOL

let's see, INFOseek the first SE we took control of with serp's

the only SE that was any good was ALTAvista IOP

then yahoo came along with some bucks and took over from dumb ass ads

then google came along and hit all the traffic sites with we'll give you 51% of the revenue IF you put our box on your site

history of SE's 101

but I forgot you're all 'newbies'

LOL

That data has been there a while. You can prove to yourself that it's bullshit by advertising on your own website through AdWords, clicking some of your own ads, and then checking the pay-out.

adonivideo.......why don't you make your posts a little more "user friendly" i.e, a little more sensible and easier to read?

That's what I was thinking. But what are you going to do with that information, approach Google with it for an instant ban and loss of current earnings?
