Relevant details:

• First site of this type out there - domain registered on day it was launched (end of May)
• According to Webalizer, average visits per day is 7400
• Custom scipts on page allow embedded Street View - only site to do this and much slicker than going to Google page.
• Custom back end (Windows/C++) processing generates all the HTML for the site including live capture thumbnails.
• Earnings per day is $22 according to Adsense but that's a bit skewed by high numbers at the beginning.
• Received unsubstantiated emails suggesting that the 5 cities is but a fraction of the data they have and many more will be online soon.
• I've been interviewed by Abbi Tatton for CNN and by the CBC about the site - hasn't made it to their pages yet but the nature of the Google site stirs up a lot of news. RTL wanted one too but I wasn't able to get to NYC.
