"Dear GreatDomains.com Customer:

As you know, we are planning a complete re-launch of the GreatDomains.com website and value your input on the development of the website."

"As your opinion is extremely important to us, we would greatly appreciate it if you would take a few minutes to complete our web survey. The information you provide will help us create the premier destination for buying, selling and listing the most prized domains on the Internet!"

"The survey should take you no longer than 10 minutes to finish. As thanks for your input and feedback, we’ll e-mail you a coupon for 20% off of any domain name from www.tv or www.enic.cc."

Errr ... 20% off any .TV or .CC domain?!?!?
Talk about starting off on the wrong foot ... last I checked, .20 x $0.00 = $0.00. Real "premier". Your thoughts?

.tv runs deep discount plans rather frequently so 20% off is not something that is worth even 10 minutes of my life, not to say that I have yet to register my first .tv.

Last time when I did a telephone interview with them, I got a $50 Amazon coupon which is way much better.

Yeh. That Amazon deal sounds so much better than this. True.
Thanks.

Well dnfourum will get a chance to pass judgement on the value of .cc when flowers.cc goes on auction next Sunday.

As for .tv The trick is to find a name that

1) Is actually a generic or very brandable term

2) Has not been priced out of the market by the registry.

The reality is that some .tv domains have attracted registration fees in the six figures a year! This is not a "worthless" extension.
