Quoting Dave Wrixon from the post at http://www.dnforum.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=588301,

dwrixon said:
I think perhaps you are a little out of date on this one. As far as I am aware the main registrars are no longer accepting registration for mixed language domains of the type that would be of use to phishers! No bad thing either!

Regards
Dave Wrixon

I saw the domain 'Hösting.com' (obviously Hosting.com but with the foreign character) was about to drop so I attempted to register the name.

It seems to have gone through successfuly unless theres some rules that they can take the name off me?

Any appraisals on this name?

Thanks,
Richard

I don't really see any value in it.

Hösting means nothing.

The domain is worthless. "Hösting" has got no meaning and I'd have never
thought of a connection to "hosting" before I read you post. Really, that's
a bad domain. The only thing which might drive a little value to it would be
traffic through typos, in Europe the "ö" is near the "o" on the keyboard. I
think it's unlikely that people type the term in wrongly though. So I keep at
my first impression: The domain is worthless.

isn't this just a glorified typo like ... hostLng.com (hostlng.com), but with the added task of having to type in a 'special character'?
