For Sale Had any success with GoDaddy's "Investors Edge"?

Wondering if anyone's used this, or had any success with their Investors Edge program, as a WWD Reseller I can get it for $20 instead of 30, just wondering if it's worked for anyone, or what the Pros and Cons are.

The lower prices listed on the Investor's Edge service (that you pay a monthly fee to qualify for) switch to the higher regular backorder fee sometimes when you get to the cart, so beware.

even though I buy plenty, I just use "saveten" and take 10% off my order... having said that registering .tv domains from tdnam where they charge you $34.95 renewal fee is a rip-off

Hey, it's worth a try! They are good at catching .BIZ and .US, fair with .INFO and .ORG and absolutely abysmal with .COM and .NET although, that said, they do surprise you once in a while. Since TDNAM went up, the .COM and .NET catches seem even worse. The idea is quantity though. Enter a lot of names and you'll get some. Right now, you can buy .US and .BIZ 'snaps' for $7.95 (with the Investor's Edge subscription) and get a renewal or a new name for an additional $1.99 so they are just costing you, effectively, about $3.00. Use 'RENEW7' or 'RENEW10' for a 10% discount on the total.

As an aside, 'CANDY' gives you $5 off of a $30 total and, I believe, 'AMAZON' gives you $2.00 off of regular .COM and .NET names. See the Go Daddy section of this forum under 'Registrars'. Many users list these great codes there!

BTW - Is it worth being a reseller for them, savings wise??

Savings wise, it's really not worth the $180, unless you just LOVE GoDaddy products, domains wise, you can get .coms for 7.48ish, which is close to alright, but I get 7.20 at moniker, and DomainSite is just 6.99 flat. Now if the WWD reseller were cheaper, say $50 it'd most definately be worth it.
