Has anyone else had trouble w/ Adwords?

I signed up two days ago for adwords and as soon as i submitted my credit card information, it said that my ad would start showing within minutes.....It still isnt showing and their help specialists are "unable to resolve the problem" ....Has anyone else had this happen??
