For those who are unfamiliar, the "format war" in the realm of High Definition home entertainment - the fight between two different HD disc formats, HD DVD and Blu-Ray - has ended, with Blu-Ray media as the winner.
However, a new "format" is beginning to take hold, thanks to services like XBox Live, PSN, Apple TV and Vudu. The new format is HD Digital Downloads.
With that in mind, I'm looking for appraisals on the following:
