Wanted: Service Help needed from a Canadian please

Hi All,

I have tried registering a domain name via the following company:

Hoost Communications
6325Maurice Duplessis,
Suite 103,
Montreal,
H1G5X9
Quebec.

I am now having a little trouble (hopefully it can be resolved), but I have tried finding a telephone number for the company but cannot. If any of you know of a telephone number so that I may talk to them it would be much appreciated if you could drop me a line.

Thanks for the reply.

I've now checked the 'whois' and indeed the name is registered but unfortunately without a date of registration.

After concideration I contacted the RCMP in Quebec and let them know what was occuring, they will now be dealing with the matter.

I'm confused. You tried to register a domain and I guess they arent getting back to you? RCMP is kinda overkill for a domain name or charge dispute? I checked out google and it looks like these guys also have a front in Morocco..they got a moroccan domain name registrar as well.

Hi Steve, sorry I cannot explain too much here, but I would warn people not to try and register domains through them. It is rightly now with the appropriate authorities to investigate the matter that arose with deeper digging.
