Ok, here's the issue. I have a two word domain name that is 15 characters long (excluding .com), amazingdiamonds.com

I registered it to set up a site that has been back burnered for the last 2 years. I get a solicitation to sell the domain from a company, but they want a "professional appraisal". The amount they are willing to pay is directly porportional to the amount of the appraisal. The caveat is that they want it to be appraised through:

GreatDomains.com, ValDomains.com, or Hollywooddomains.com

So my question is which of these companies will give me the highest appraisal?

Personaly wouldn't use any. If anything, use Sedo.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it's a scam. You did not get a real offer, but an attempt to pull you in to pay for an appraisal from the scammer himself.

Thread moved to Gold Cafe.

Sorry liquidstar, MovieDomains is right.
You'll find some threads on DNF about this type of scams.
