Steve, looking toward the future I think HFCV.com is one of the very best 4 letter names to hold on to. Hydrogen fuelcell vehicles are definitely on their way....I wouldn't part with this name for less than 5 figures. In fact, if it were mine I would register it for 10 years and tuck it away until somebody came beating down my door for it.
looking toward the future is already incorporated in a low to mid $$$ appraisal IMO, because the current usage potential is basically zero. I think many people might be overestimating the value of every possible acronym for something. Also the success of this technology is questionable, some people think it will get bigger, but that does not actually mean it will, 10 years from now there might be something totally different in the pipeline. I think if you actually have a low $x.xxx offer that is already worth consideration. Waiting for 5 figures I think does not make a lot of sense, and nobod knows whats going to happen with this technology. I actually think a good time for selling is now as the talk about global warming is peaking IMO, thats always a good time to sell.

Catchy name but you'll probably have to wait for the vehicles to be mainstream before they pick up that acronym.
Just put it away for ten years otherwise now it would have limited appeal unless you can find a buyer in that niche. Seek out Players in that space and put $2000 on it and see what happens.
If it's a common term in that industry then some end user might grab it.
