The new buyer is Trader Publishing, which operates real estate magazines and other real estate web sites. I would guess this was in the x,xxx,xxx range...

Yea, but House.com was the 3rd most visited Real Estate site for week ending 9/19/04 according to Comscore/Media Metrix.

Trader is known for their HarmonHomes.com portal.
One of my personal favorite real estate websites.

i would agree, or atleast real close... not based on traffic, but brandability alone!

I wonder if/when this sale will be reported publically. It sure sounds like it could be one of the biggest sales this year.

But, it's a business that has thousands of paying members.
Sort of like the advertising.com sale earlier this year.

A lot of businesses get sold, and a great domain name comes with the deal.
The sale wasn't necessarily just for the domain in and of itself.
