Sorry for the confusion. Let me clarify. the xxxxxx is another word not just x's. Basically I just wanted to know how much the hyphen and the .net hurt this domain name? Is is worth anything with the hyphen?

Can't tell without the name.. but probably not!
 
it depends
if the xxxxx = casino or sex or porn then it hurts
if xxxx = asdkj, then it doesnt hurt.
 
Without knowing what the xxxxxx stands for its not possible to say whether its good or bad...
