But what is it?

I guess I usually try to think of a business model for a domain unless it is so generic that it isn't even a real word. In the U.S. it doesn't seem like stockings are really all that popular. Even when they were, they were usually referred to as "pantyhose" unless you were using the word in a phrase such as "silk stockings."

Maybe it could be a business that helps other businesses stock their shelves? It has some value as a one word domain - but it is a domain in search of a business model.

I agree. But the question is: if the word doesn't give an instant idea of what it's about, how did it get 74,960 searches in one month!!! What were people searching for?? Why all the sponsored links for the keyword?

Any other appraisals? All appreciated.
