How can I transfer vBulletin/Domain name?

Hi all,

I'm about to sell one of my sites, and I'd like to know how exactly I should go about transfering the ownership of the data over.

First, with the domain name, it's currently assigned to my account at GoDaddy, the same account which is connected to my other domains as well. How can I transfer this over in his name?

Secondly, I have an owned vBLisence. How would I go about transfering this to his name as well?

With the domain, you can have the user set up a godaddy account, and push the name to that account after you receive payment.

Just get the details of the person you sold the name and initiate the transfer through GoDaddy.

For the VB Licence contact [email protected] with the following details ;

Jelsoft may, in its discretion, allow you to transfer your license to another party, providing the license:
- has not already been transferred in the previous 12 months; and
- was purchased more than 3 months in the past.

If your license meets this requirement, then please provide the following info:

- license number
- customer number
- customer password
- full name of person transferring license to
- email address of that personThank you for your request.

Also for added security, please include the following information from when you ordered vBulletin so that we can verify this request:

- Your name
- Email address
- Billing address
- Telephone number
- Approximate date of purchase
- Type of license
- Order Method (CC, Paypal, etc)
