How do I broker a name? Need some advice

Someone wants me to sell a domain name for them. The dot com version of this name sold for low $xxx,xxx.xx a few years ago. This is the dot net version.

Any advice on getting the best offer. How would you approach people. I just dont want to start plastering it on all the forums.

What commision would you charge?

Make sure that ownership of the name is clear.
Have a written contract.
