For the auction I got this reply from Sedo:

Bolded featured auctions are hand-picked by our expert brokers. These tend to be auctions of very high-value domain names. We do not offer this as a service that can be purchased or applied for, as a very select few domains are chosen.
If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us."
