How do you think of 2 letter LL.cctld

so many 2L.cctld domains are available til now

it that worthing...or not for investing ...

Well depends on country. For example .cz LL all has been taken already many years ago, LN.cz maybe 3 years ago and NL.cz 1-2 years ago and now price for NL.cz is already $100. However this is not "investing" but rather "gambling" and it can be only done if you know that aprticular country market well.

when you post questions like these concerning value or potential value in the future for cctlds, it's best that you have already bought up some before tipping others off to the niche', if YOU think potential is there.

everybody is looking for the next frontier...


though you may want to get feedback on what others think, for the newer cctlds it's all speculation.

as "denny" stated, you have to know that particular countrys' market.

Avoid exotic extensions. Focus on developed ccTLDs that have an established local market.

Absolute crap and these exotic domains usually cost a lot annual fees

well lets say on certain extension all ll are taken renewal is like 60 per year , what do you think such domain are worth ?

i own 2 ll.gs , Pu.gs ( pugs ) Wa.gs ( wags ) , they make pretty good hack , according to namebio there are some previous hacks that were sold and they all fall in range of 300 + but those sales happened back in 07,08 . What are these worth at this moment and maybe mid 2010 ?

Honestly domain hacks are not a very liquid form of investment.

well i try sticking to .com's but sometimes i see some cctlds for sale or avail to reg , i get it , i only have like 4-5 cctlds, everything else is .com,net

i got Map.tl , Wa.gs and Pu.gs ( recently received 65 offer ) its double the value i paid for it but its not expiring soon, its expiring in mid 2010 so i decided to keep )

Don't invest in these exotic extensions...waste of time and money in renewal fees.

well its been almost 2 years , and i am glad that i have only renewed 2 domains but i had several cctlds, map.mn , map.sc , and few other cctlds and i sold them all without having to renew and pretty good profit , x 3 the reg fee on most of them

If you have to, no harm in buying a few that might have potential. Pu.gs is a good hack for someone who likes that type of dog. Now, should you go all out and buy up a ton of LL in exotic tlds, I'd say no. Decide how much money/risk you want to take and that will decide.
