How long did it take you to start receiveing a steady income from affiliates / ads?
With me , im stilling waiting patiently for those visitors to click :

The more traffic, the more clicks.

About 2 years.

After 2 years, you probably started getting more traffic, which caused more clicks. If your traffic level stayed the same with a higher ctr, that would be interesting.
