I know that .us has been available for about 1 year.

How long have .biz and .info been available to register?

Fyi on the US reg #'s Neustar reserved "a lot" of names for local, stated and federal agencies.

Not to shoot down the growth of US, but everything must be taken into account, as people do make investment decisions based on what is thrown out there.

Thanks for the info. izopod. But it still doesn't answer my question about .biz and .info.

Does anyone know how long people have been able to register .biz and .info domains?

Oct2001 for .INfo and Nov 2001 for .Biz I believe.. somewhere around then..

.biz (regular registration): on or about Dec 7, 2001

I know that I submitted some of my pre-registration attempts for the .info landrush on the morning of September 11, 2001, just minutes before the first terrorist plane hit.
