For Sale how many attempts per second?

I'm just putting a question out here for anyone to try and answer.

How many attempts to register a domain is made per second that is dropping from netsol in normal drop-time?

Lets say a fair three-letter like hke.com. Was it 50 reg tries per second or 1000/sec? (I'm talking total reg attempts to the central registry.)

(I don't have the answer but I'd like to hear what you think.)

I have seen credible sources indidate that registrars initiate 1000 attempts per second.

ok thx for the input guys,

Personally I can do approx 10 attempts a sec, but I dont get the good ones with that. Just wondering how much I need to step it up to have a chance.

What do you think, (and feel free to reveal how many attempts you muster during netsol drop time!)
