I'm not selling anything here (at least not yet), so don't feel the need to prove my point. However I've been involved in similar stuff for over 3 years (specifically building software systems to generate good sites for google rankings) so I have an idea of what I'm talking about. This is not easy at all and involves lots of coding, testing and in the end these sites do provide value for the visitor. Of course it can't be 100% hard proof, but then nothing is with google.

So back to the point. The thread is not specifically about scraped sites of any sort, but just any development in general.. be it a small one page site, or a super mega portal. To see what are most domainers' perspectives on development of their domain portfolios

I believe you, just people should not call this "developped" domain, rather "I have put scrap page on my domain".

If someone has team of say 10 people he could develop 1~10 domains/year (my most developped domain has staff of more than 10 people to take care of the business around it, although to develop it took couple of days + updates). If someone plans on to develop alone hundreds domains a year he is not developping, he is putting scrap content on it. I am not saying it is bad, bad let's call spade a spade.

I have 250+ names and only about 10% are developed another 30-40% are waiting for development.... I make them in to mini sites with adsense and affiliate links and a few other features to make money... I make all with xsitepro, all have brand new content when they start..

It takes time to get them up and running and promoting them I do about 2-3 per month.

If I had some one to help me I would pay by the hour... $8-10 per hour but it only takes me 2-3 hours to make a site.... no including promoting it..

So I would pay $30+ for a mini site made with xsitepro 2

I usually start with 10 brand new articles and add more over time.. so to start 10 pages... here is a new site i made but not finished yet. aaromatherapy.com

and yes Xsitepro is well worth the money.

How many of your domains are already developed?
1 fully developed, working on the 2nd and 3rd one, almost done (2 cancelled in the past). That will be 3 out of 20 altough a few domain are forwarded that perhaps will be developed too.

How many of them do you want to Develop?
As much as i can and feel necessay. I would buy new domains.

How many would you like to build into "mini sites"?
As much as necessary

What would you pay per site for large scale development?
Current marketprice, altough I am not familiar with those and don't consider it at this moment.

I have added a few syndicated articles and info to each and will be adding more,
yes the adsense and then I will be adding some affiliate items in also
