Hello!

I would like to register a trademark but I have never done so before. I would appreciate any help regarding this.

I have heard that I should go through http://www.uspto.gov/ . Is this the best way?

Would it be better to get a lawyer to handle it for me? Basically I would like to know the best way to go about this process. Explanations of different options would also be great!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Regards,

If your wallet allows it, invest on a TM attorney to help you as they know the
ins and outs. There are also companies who specialize on this, though I don't
know whom to recommend specifically as there are more than one out there.

I just used attorney Charles Carreon for a trademark, and he was very very reasonable.

His website is here http://mediaesq.com

I talked to my accountant and it sounds like his attorney does trademarks so I will be talking to him soon. Thanks for the suggestions though! :-)

If a trademark is dead, can someone else make a new trademark on it? I have a few other things I would like to get trademarked that currently have dead trademarks. What is the policy on this?
