how to deal with scammers?

Hey guys does anyone have a creative way to get back at an appraisal scammer (they offer to buy your name for big $ but only if you appraise it with a company they trust because they dont trust any known companies)? The "recommended" by them appraisal "companies" are http://www.securenamesale.com/appraise.asp
and www.DomainMart.com. I mean theres gotta be some fun way to deal with them and hopefully waste more of their time than they do of ours, if anyones got an idea post it or PM me

Most likely the email address they are using is temporary and they will delete it after the scam is complete. You can always track down where they live and bust a knee cap. I'd just hit the delete button.

Many articles on the web are pointing to Russian Mafia being behind this scam. If you want to hit them do it so they can't track you back and send someone to bust your knee cap.

One thing you can do is report the domain names they are using to their registrar so they can put them on HOLD.

thats funny, i got the same scammer, wonder what his PhD dissertation was on i guess the registrar idea is the only thing that could do some good, although i was thinking of something a lot more malevolent...bad....bad me. i was just going to have some fun with it since im already involved (oops first time) and they seem to spend so much time thinking of answers and writing back (not automated), all for $60. anyway how do you know where the email originates- look for whois of domain after the "@"? no that doesnt sound right, could be US based email acct...

I normaly dont respond to them but today i will try to se how far i can go. I dont think he will come back since i told him that the price was far from budget but i`ll se.

I get few scammers these days since I started my "scammers scamming scammers" program.

Keep your scam emails in a separate folder. When you get a new one, respond WITH INTEREST and pretend to the previous scammer. Nigerians are best because they provide a good phone number and stay with it. Be sure to sound a little stupid, quote the christian bible at least a couple of times (they love the gullible), mention you have kids and need the money, and let the hilarity ensue.
