If you buy a name, but it's previous owners have it still listed for sale at Sedo, Afternic, etc.
how do you get them to remove it so that you can list it or at the very least reduce confusion?

Is it as simple as emailing Sedo and proving you own the name?

Thanks for the help guys!

Hi, you can request customer service at Afternic/Sedo to remove it. If you have access to
an account manager or rep at Afternic/Sedo, email them your request. Hope it helps.

You could just ask the person who you bought the domain off of to remove it from their account.
