How to optimize for ND

Hi, I recently reg a domain and after 2 weeks at ND it got nearly $2USD. Is there any way to optimize the domain to monetize it better because I only sort off throw it in just like that and so I am sure there must be a way to optimize it or is there any guide? Thanks
