So, I get an offer on a domain name of mine this morning via Sedo.

As it turns out, this is a domain name I had attempted to shop around with no success, and as a result, had not renewed.

Frantically rushing to the PC to find out what the status was, I couldn't find it in my registrar's account (registrar is www.worldbizdomains.com).

A whois search showed it was still registered, just in the redemption period, as of October 15th, 2011, which was 23 days ago as of this writing.

Now, this offer isn't going to make me rich, so it's not the end of the world if this falls apart.

But of course, making the deal would sure as heck make me happy.

Can anyone provide any advice as to how I can recover this name, if I can at all?

I'd really appreciate any answers :)

It MAY be possible with your registrar. It will cost you $160 though...

Search for "redemption" in their Registration Agreement here:

Good luck!

Ouch! Too bad the offer was only for $100 with a net of $50 on my part. People say you have to spend money to make money, but I have a feeling that this isn't quite going to work that way!

Thanks for the advice, Dale, hadn't thought to look there. I appreciate it!
