For Sale How to tell when domains drop?

I have a couple of "pending deletes" that I am monituring, but how can I tell when they are due to drop? I was told they would drop yesterday, and have been checking the availability every hour since, but they are still not available?

The WHOIS says this:

Sponsoring Registrar: TUCOWS INC.
Domain Status: pendingDelete
Domain Registration Date: Wed Apr 24 14:25:30 GMT 2002
Domain Expiration Date: Sat Apr 23 23:59:59 GMT 2005
Domain Last Updated Date: Sat Jun 04 10:17:31 GMT 2005

Should I be able to tell from this when it will drop?

Do all domains drop at the same time, eg. 23:59:59 GMT, or does it very from domain to domain, registrar to registrar?

Can you tell exactly when it will happen, or is it just a case of checking until it's available?

5 days from when the day they entered the 'pending delete' period.

so i am not the only one monitoring those .us domains, eh? ya, ive been checking everyday too for some of those, i am wondering when they will drop as well.

yu sure the whois up to date? sometime they only get refreshed everyday or so, while snapping a domain is a matter of milliseconds..

for .us, the whois update takes 5-10 minutes max to show the new registrant.
