How/where to get appraisal of domain considering buying

I understand that the appraisal forum is for the domain owner. What about a domain I am considering buying? Is there anywhere that I can go to get an opinion of it? Or some other method(s) to determine value?

If you tell others the name you're considering buying, you risk someone else scooping the name from you....be cautious.
