I moved few of my domains from one to another provider.

For most of domains typein traffic saw a big jump ( earnings did not change) and for one particular domain , uniques increased from 5 to 400 in a month !!!

Any one else has seen such thing ? How do I make more money from more uniques and clicks ?

Thanks,

Appears impossible. I dont see how or why typein traffic would vary between providers since a typein is a typein regardless of the webpage being used :?:

That is exactly the reason behind my post.

The only possible explanation I can think of is an error where someone is misreporting or misreading the stats and the actual typeins are much different compared to what you understand. I can't think of another valid explanation (beyond a bug or false info).

P.S. If you want to change namesevers to my dns I can tell you the real typein nunbers within a 3 days time so you can figure out where the misundertanding or misreading is coming from.

Each parking provider discards some types of traffic like 'unworthy' traffic (non-converting countries), bots, multiple visits etc but the filtering criteria vary.
Widely it seems.

Yup. I'm guessing you moved a name from parked to either sedo or smartname. parked filters the bots better I think, and doesn;t count them as uniques. I have a name that showed 50-100 a month at parked, but over 10,000 a month at sedo.
