We FINALLY got power back tonight. Six days without power sucked but there are many here in Louisiana still without power or water.

The worst part was not being able to wash clothes (they were getting ripe!).

While it will likely change, I sure hate seeing Ike bearing down on us on the current path.

Good news! Welcome back to civilization!

I certainly did not expect to see Ike heading your way too. Maybe start driving ummm... northwest? northeast? southeast? southwest? ... now?

After Wilma, getting power back was the best thing, hot food, cold drinks, and a hot shower.

(Laundry came third). Oh yeah, and AIR CONDITIONING!!!

Welcome back Bell, the 11PM update shows Ike going past NO and towards the LA / TX border now.
