closed Hyphenated domain-name.com is it worth buying? At what price?

Let's assume you wanted to buy movietickets.com but it wasn't available however movie-tickets.com was.

A) Would you buy the hyphenated version or look for a similar non hyphenated name?

B) How much of a discount would you expect on the hyphenated version?

a. would if popular term (at least 50K OVT)
b. 80~90%

I.e. domain-name.com value $5~$10K, movie-tickets.com - if there would be no popular project on movietickets.com would be about $5K, but as movie-tickets.com gets a lot of "typo" traffic from movietickets.com the value would be $20~$30K, and so on
