I'd say that asdfthrtdkfj-rererer-sdfjjasdf.com could be developed into a great $$$ site possibly for dyslexic people or someone who can't read or write. I'd say that it's worth x,xxx,xxx - I was hoping to grab that one, but you beat me to it. :rockon:

I think obviously what the annoying/scam/robot making bob parsons so damn rich is trying to say is that the domain has little discernable value until developed. As a domain alone it probably has more meaning and value to it to you than anybody would be likely to buy it for. Develop the site if that's your plan.
To be fair to the bot, $48-$134 is probably not massively out, if only for the fact that most people would like at least $48 for any name if somebody approached them to buy it, and the chances of that happening on most names that are registered is pretty slim.
Glad you did the experiment though, proves what we all knew even further.

I think the best thing that can be said about it is, it gets people to think about the value of names. Everyone I seen so far, made you input info into them, this info gets you to judge things about the name.

Then the software ave it out, but if you are buying or selling names. You should of already taking these things into account, but some people don't even know where to start. And one of these programs, can get them started on what counts in names towards value.

Some of the programs, do a fairly good job at it if the right info is put in. And we all know these programs, are not for people that know what they are doing. It would seem many of them though, use the program much like jewlers use Appraisals.

Yep the ring is vauled at $150,000, but we got a sale on it and have it priced at $15,000. But if you buy it with the next 10 mins, we will take another $5000 off for you. Of course at that price, you are buying it AS IS but you do have the Appraisal for it.

I just got back and split my gut laughing at the comments. Actually I like GoDaddy and you can register a name and get an appraisal for $7.23 so the appraisal costs almost nothing.

I posted a new thread with 20 other GoDaddy Appriasals for you to check out. I hope some experienced members will comment so the rest of us can learn how good or bad the computer ratings really are.
