closed I have an adult traffic name, need some insight

Hi,

I have and adult name which is currently getting 220-250 uniques a day, U.S. traffic is about 37%.

This name is not doing much with search revenue, I have not built and adult site yet, And was thinking of possibly making a tgp gallery.

Any expierenced adult webmaster's here could possibly tell how would be the best way to capitalise on this traffic.

Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

Have you tried redirecting the traffic straight to a sponsor? Try Cecash.com and use their cemag or allxxxpass linking code. If that doesn't work I can get you going with a tgp gallery.

Ok, I appreciate your reply, I am kind of looking to possibly develop., Only because I have had some good luck with seo and such., Most of this traffic has stayed due to well placed links on other xxx sites., if I were to develop I would probably have a better chance at a decent pagerank (not quite sure on this)., Maybe use a redirect using some kind of frame setup would work without penalties?

You can have a good runking by hosting an actual page on the domain with all the meta tags and content but having the redirection done with a java redirect script, not meta refresh.

If you use meta refresh redirect your meta tags and content cannot load, framing is also shouldn't be uses since most search engines don't recognize frames.

I am shocked , to put it mildly, that you have posted a link to an adult content site while being FULLY AWARE that there are minors in this forum. I am hoping this was an oversight.

Mods should remove this link and any other links that point to adult content untill such time that these forums have implemented ways to keep kids off these areas,

Sorry, JH3, but these kinds of things just should not be allowed -from legal point of view, and as far as I am concerned also from a Moral point of view. Exposing minors to porn should not be considered acceptable.

Unless this changes, I am pretty close to reconsidering my decision to join this forum. I would not associate myself with any fora that engages in or pardons these kinds of activites.

I'd put up a warning page and have it lead to a sponsor site, once that corresponds with the name of the site.

I had a few AVS feeders doing nothing but getting 500-1000 hits a day, decided to trash them and make them sponsor sites and now I can actually earn money from them.

This is an adult section of the forum, what do you expect? There is a warning at the top of this section. It clearly states what is in this forum and that people under 18 need to stay out. I don't get some of you people there is a reason this is section is called adult.

I DO get it, jh3, that this is an adult section, and as an adult I have no problems with these links being there.

The post at the top of this section is a good start, but looks like it is not preventing minor DNF members from participating here.

The fact that minor DNF members ARE participating in this section is no secret. Given that prior knowledge, I think going an extra mile is only a responsible thing to do. Here are a few options you may want to consider:
1. Enforce the Adult-only participation policy for this forum, either my enabling automated adult-only access rules (like the ones that block non-Platinum members from Platinum-members only sections) or by strict enforcement of policies which may require you to warn/block/ban minor DNF members who willfully ignore these terms/policies.
2. Incorporat some ways of keeping a positive proof of participant's adult-status on record.

It has been mis-stated by some minor DNF members who frequent/partricipate in these sections that this area involves only adult words and nothing more. I am only trying to restate the obvious fact that this area does provide references to content not suitable for minors.

I have no prior experience in Adult content industry, so by no means I am trying to preach to the pros here.
I am only trying to help make things better, by providing constructive input.

Sorry to interupt all the fighting in this thread, when I started it I did not think it would get so involved with, I realise everyone has some valid points, maybe we could try to get back to this thread here?

I came to get some info from expierenced Adult webmasters, Jh3 was nice enough to help with his suggestions, which I appreciated, maybe all of this conflict in this forum should be taken up with the admin.

I did not mean to distract attention away from the topic of this discussion thread. However, this being a discussion thread and not a Sales thread, things are not required to be laser-aligned. Had this been your Sales thread, I would have participated if and only if I was interested in buying a domain/site.

I was stressing the obvious need for implementing appropriate and sufficient means to keep minors out of this forum that clearly contains links to porn. I thought mods/admins/members of this fora will grab this opportunity to address this serious issue (continuing to allow minors to view porn) right away in stead responding so caustically or just ignoring the ongoing.

I take my membership to any fora seriously and try to make a difference, as best as I can. A fora is what its members make of it. I am only trying my best to help make it better.

I didnt mean to bust chops, I thought maybe some direct contact with admins thru possible pm and or email would help with the solution., Whether it was in this thread or not, this seem's to be an issue that need's to be resolved., As forum member's have legitimate concerns regarding minors in this Adult forum.

I am sure admins have seen these threads in this forum, and are trying to keep all member's happy.
