Hey Y'all

I just found the domain name that I really want.

And it looks like it's dropping.

Here's the information under the who is:

Created: 2005-10-11
Expires: 2008-10-11
Updated: 2008-12-12
Registrar Status: pendingDelete
Name Server: NOT-RENEWED.********.COM (has 151 domains)
Whois Server: whois.*******.com

Can anybody tell me where to go to get this domain name?

I would REALLY appreciate it.

Thanks.

Mark

What registrar was it with?

Check with Pool.com, Afternic.com and NameJet,com

You can either try picking it up with a drop catcher service, like Draggar has mentioned, or wait till it's available. Either will take time, until the domain is released.

Don't forget NameJet. If you really, really want the name. Backorder it at Snapnames, Namejet and Pool. I betcha Snap or Namejet will pick it up if it's any good. ;)

If it's any good and lands on Namejet, good luck in the auction. Sure price won't be low.

Don't forget Godaddy... they've surprised me a handful of times in the past. I never have expectations from them but when they do succeed- it's a damn good feeling.

Good luck

Godaddy is only $18, the cheapest. The least successfull when its competitive, but you never know.

Really? Do they ever get non godaddy names? You ever even get a GoDaddy name? I still feel burned buying a bulk batch of backorders only to discover they at best would place a bid for me on a name that goes up to auction on TDNAM. It would be great to know these backorders can actually be put to any sorta use other than a glorified proxy first bid. Thanks for any info :)

GoDaddy used to be good years ago, and I did manage to snag a couple of sweet domains with them, but the last 10 attempts have all failed. I consider them to be a waste of time now.

Being a noob here but I wanna ask if we pay GD the $18 to backorder the domain we want and it fails, will we get a refund or we loose the money?
Thanks

I think that if it fails, you can apply that backorder to another domain. But GoDaddy is notoriously bad at catching dropping domains.
