I own HouseVilla.com, my magic number in my mind for HouseVilla.com is around the same price that HouseVilla.net is listed on Sedo.com


Do you think I am under valuing this domain name? What is your appraised value?

Yes, I understand that they can list it for what ever they want, 1 trillion..billion, million dollars if they want.

They listed this name for $10,000 for the .net, which is more then I appraised the value of my own .com.


Thats why I am asking your guys your opinion in value? I am in the correct thread right?
What do you guys think the .com or .net is worth?

If they have 10k to spend on the .net then they should have money. Ask them if they are interested and say like $55,000 then they will prob say $45-35k so your good.

I would let it go for half that if I had a buyer to be honest. I valued this name as a .COM for around $4000+/- do you guys think it is worth more then that?

I really wouldn't see where that name would be worth that much, but we all know there have been stranger sales in the past. Maybe you should just list yours for $12,000 -- that way, if someone does a search for the name, they will think they'll be getting a hella deal by paying only $2K more for the .com TLD. :smilewinkgrin:

Your post title makes it sound as if the .net sold for that much when in fact it's just listed at that price. Personally, I've never heard of a "house villa". I've heard of a "beach house" or an "Aegean villa" but "house villa" makes little sense. There are no type-in results in Google either.

I think "villa" would be more of a European search term then US

it is definitely not a generic search term and would need $ behind the branding for end user.

$10,000 just seems to high of an asking price for .net and .com for that matter.

Yes, villa is a Spanish term and it's popular in Europe. But the combination of house+villa is not very valid IMO.
