Saw this auction on ebay. Can anyone provide comments on whether this is a good thing to use ? I own "TheSoftwareStore.com" and this sounds like the perfect software (or so i'm led to believe)...

If the template cms does as they say then it might not be so bad, but it looks like they want to reel you into using their hosting - and that could be a nightmare.

I would compile a list of questions and fire it off to them if you are seriously considering them.

You could achieve a similiar setup without the hosting being involved by using just about any CMS. I would use postnuke for sales because of its powerful permissions backend - and tie it in with oscommerce or the like. They both have so many free or low cost templates to get you on your way.

If you don't know how to use CMS or hesitate at the thought of mucking around with PHP - then you may have to look at another existing solution.
