I am just a newbie, but in my opinion these are not worth much.

Try to say the names? D zero ctor.com ???

Try to print the name? D0ctor.com ???
In capitals? D0CTOR.com versus DOCTOR.com ???

If you can't say it, can't read it easily and the search engines have no keyword there either, you're in trouble.

My humble newbie-advice, keep your fingers off these names and save your reg-fees for better .com's

hi
i think they're all crap, cos quite frankly they ain't real words, and also they'd be very hard to market. The reason for the negative reply is this, I too own loads of this crap (swapping 1's for i's & o's for 0's etc) and i wish to god i'd never reg'd any of them. There's just so many other PROPER words to work with, don't reg anymore of them, spend ya good money on good domains, and strictly NOTHING ELSE WHATSOEVER, ok? Still, good luck with them, you never know, you may well find somebody with little knowledge and lots of enthusiasm for cool looking names.

Do you know any Dr's?

I've done sites for several.

I know a ton of them.

Most are very vain.

Now ask any doctor you know what he thinks Doctor.com is worth correct spelling.

When he gives you a stupid value explain how it could be a 10Mil + name.

Then say what would he pay to D0CTOR.com as his own?

I bet some beverly hills plastic surgeon would put up at least 10K for it

It's one of the ultimate vanity domain names.

He could even use it on his business cards.

D0CT0R.com (0=Zero's)

Now you know every doctor in the USA would offer 10k for DOCTOR .com correct spelling

However, there is only one of them

And it's value is absolutely one of the most valuable names on the net with no development.

Now if you think such a name has no vanity value using zero's that's an opinion.

I hear it's gonna get a 100K appraisal soon.

1% of the estimated value of the correct spelling name.

My own dentist said he would pay 1K for it any time we want to sell it, I phoned him last night.

He's a golfing buddy of mine.

So if you don't hang out with doctors or brokers you don't have a way to see how those types react to it.

KILLER NAME

Long Term 100K

Fast sell 10K

1K all day long

when it's sold to a vain doctor for six figures I'll post the news story about it

you need to do some design work for lawyers, doctors, brokers, etc.

then you'll understand it

if a Zero tricked up name is developed with medical content it will be near the top of search engines

it's a killer name to do banners and hard links to

it is even easy for radio and tv

This is Dr. X from D0CT0R.com. That's Doctor with two zeros.

Easy to use

Now no one is gonna type it in without radio or tv, but they will if used for major media

Great use for banners and hard links

Ultimate internet conversation piece for a vain dr

bet it sells for 100K within the year

or it will lease with hosting for 10K a year

Money, you can hype it up for yourself, but these 'zero instead of O' domains really are pretty useless. If you have a guy that'll pay you that sort of money, then cool. But it ain't never a grand all day l0ng. Sorry.

It looks unprofessional to use this type of name. The Doctor could find a good 2 word .com easily for a few hundred. Then when he tells his clients he wont feel like a retard.

John, this is really weird.
Again, any name can become a killer name if you make something of a site.
Other than that; no direct type-ins = no high value.
You have hundreds of sites, maybe thousands, you know it better.

P1NG.com
BluTooth.net
CassinoOnTheNet.com
eg0.co.uk
f0ur.com + .co.uk
fr3mail.com
fr3-mail.com
g0lf.net
l0w.co.uk
mon3y.co.uk
t1me.co.uk

open to offers on any of them

one-time DRp1ng was feeling l0w so he went off to bet his mon3y at cassino-on-the-net, he won lots and his eg0 was big now so he bought a Blutooth phone for f0ur hundred quid, it could even receive fr3-emails. Feeling much better now he went for a game of g0lf

sorry about that.

Anyway I must admit that I too still like the LOOK of them, but that means nuffin to me, mon3y in the bank is what matters

within a year zero names will be a trend among professionals

one big sale and it makes the news

instant free advertising for the buyer and seller

such little vision here

hehe

opinions are great though

personally I love swimming against the current

when everyone's buying I'm usually selling stock

when everyones selling I'm usually buying stock

having a huge inventory of these names means ONE COMPANY gets to set the prices

you should see all the zero names AIS now owns, just like 1 Names

now they're gonna do the domain loan thing to acquire real cheap 2 - 3 character domains and dictionary names

look for a major launch soon for them

1. a super maket for domain names
2. the first domain pawn service

then of course they'll do a forum

they already have an appraisal company

they've done hosting and design work for years

they run huge content sites

blah blah blah

I'm telling you though, ask any doctor what 1MD.com or D0CTOR.com is worth to them

you'll be shocked to see how much doctors will pay for them

M0ney, 1MD.com is a completely different model than D0CT0R.com.

Then again, you might want to register 0nemd.com to combine the best of both worlds :)

type ins mean nothing to a web site 99% of the time

very very few web sites get any type of traffic from direct type ins

I have a ton of commercial businesses using web sites

99% of the traffic if not 99.9% of the traffic comes from

1. search engines
2. hard links
3. banners
4. local advertising

now, the key to these 1 and zero domains is finding someone in a few key industries to LIKE the name

impulse buy

you say look Doc, you have a web site, fine, you see it getting traffic from yahoo or whatever, now you want a killer vanity domain name 1doc.com? or 1MD.com

sure he says here's 1 Grand, you say sorry it has a 100K appraisal

but I do have D0C . some us/net/biz whatever for 1K

the DR then says well I can't buy 1MD for 100K and I dont have 10Mil for MD.com but D0C . whatever looks cool

okay here's a check I'll give 1K

I'm telling you EASY MONEY for these zero names in lower heirarchies than .com

long term sells or asset value properties for .com's though

I wouldn't give one up in the .com level unless I got a payday

Like I said, give me 1 min. with them and they won't buy it. We can try it if you like but you have to find a buyer first.
