To identify IDN URLs that are in use, use Yahoo.com.
Use advanced search and use the keywords "xn--" "com" in All of the Words and select In The URL Of The Page, then simply check language and search. I got the following counts for search results:
Language-----------Search Results for URLs
Korean------------------1,010,000
Japanese-----------------664,000
Simplified Chinese---------270,000
Traditional Chinese------------941
Russian---------------------1,510
Arabic-------------------------77
Frankly, even as a strong advocate of IDN, I have to say I was gob-smacked!
