I recently saw a news about vibrators.com sold for 1 million dollars.

I just grabbed OnlineVibrators.com .

My question is if keyword.com sold for 1 million, how about online + keyword.com domains.

Do they have any good value?

I once sold bingoonline.com for $1,750. That was back in 1998, so it was probably a good deal. Bingo.com is/was probably worth xxx,xxx

Just my thoughts.

Is keyword + online better than online + keyword? I guess so.

Recent online + keyword sale was

onlineBooty.com sold for $18830.

Booty.como might be worth six figures?

It depends on the keyword. onlinebingo makes sense, onlinevibrators doesn't.

Agreed.

Vibrators has inherent value that the 'online' version doesn't. Your name will be judged by any traffic it gets (it may get some - I have onlineweddingdresses.com and it gets 50ish uniques every month regular as clockwork).

As a prefix, online works better with some keywords than with others.

Yes, I agree. But when you type "online vibrators" in google there are lot of results as well as sponsored search results and advertisers are willing to pay upto $2 to $3 per click and same rate as "vibrators".

If you can estimate the traffic of the comp, figure out the cost per click. Then apply the same valuation to your domain.
