I can't believe they have developed bet.com into an entertainment portal. What a waste of type-in traffic.

BET stands for Black Entertainment Television. It's a big network in the United States.

That's true with many company names.

For example, in 1999, if you were thinking about searching for a website, would you type in GOOGLE.com? :-D
