Wanted: Service image hosting

I want to put up an image hosting site on one of my domains, but I dont know where to begin, I know I would need the software/scripts need to set it up. Anyone with useful info/software, please let me know.

Not sure.

I would like for individuals to be able to upload images, If there is free software that allows this without limits that would be ideal.
