I agree it was a steal. I think that name should have deserved better exposure (Traffic for example). It could have gone for twice/thrice that amount IMHO.

I simply searched for "invest" .com domains on a list of 80,000 names that were registered in 1995. Then looked up the results for availability. I do that daily
