Hi all,

I was wondering if you recommend a different registrar beside Moniker.
They increased their prices and also I had some issues with their admin panel when I renewed some domains. Basically, they automatically switched the domain DNS to their advertising pages.

I see that name.com offers $5.99 domain registrations now. What do you recommend me to do?

Thing is with Moniker, they have never lost a domain. I like that. I like to know that. I'm a big fan of eNom's user interface but for security and trust no one beats Moniker. I hope this does not change with the new recent change in ownership.

Moniker is my favorite one. They had an issue earlier, but it seems resolved. They automatically put their landers if you don't choose, but you can "setup" what you want the dns automatically pointed to for all new registrations. You can also "bulk" change the ones you already have.

Aside from Moniker, I like nameview.

That's the exact problem I had, they switched all my domains (live or not) to their land search page. I was a little pissed because I had certain domains with custom pages.

I did not see this option, I will look for it more carefully. Feel free to point it out for me, just in case. I already "bulk" changed the current domains I own. :)

Thanks for the input, I will stick with Moniker.

Agreed with all the above.
I keep all names at Moniker, unless I get stuck with some no name registrar from a snapnames or other auction.

Any update on if those names won at Snapnames can be "auto-moved" to Moniker?
That would be so sweet.

Good support as long as you get a dedicated account manager.

GoDaddy is a big company. God help you if you have a major problem such as a stolen domain or other emergency. And, they have the clunkiest interface ever created by man.

Fabulous.. hmmm. First, they are located in Australia. I could see problems with that. I had some problems with them years ago, and I don't use them anymore. I don't recommend them.

Moniker is the clear cloice!!
