One of my first attempts: ITCVs.com - any good, or should I give up now :)

Good for an IT recruitment agency? see www.itcvs.com for a mock-up site.

Self-appraisal using mindful's self-appraisal tool:

Market Rating: 0 1 2
High Retail: $73 $200 $1050
Low Retail: $53 $150 $788
Wholesale: $32 $90 $473

If any of those are accurate, I'll be happy, but I'd love some human opinions too

Thanks!

I think it's a market rating of 0.

First, CV is only a europe thing. Continental US calls it a resume.

Second, a name like ITJobs is much more straightforward. Lending itself to both recruiters and those searching.

Third, there are already some BIG players out there, ie Dice, Monster, HotJobs, Techies, and the list goes on and on. The market is pretty well saturated.

But, it is a .com and that's worth something.

Best of luck and I hope you found the tool useful. If you have any ideas for improvement, please post them to the thread below.

Thanks for your appraisals - so is the market for Europe-specifics much smaller than for US? would ITresumes.com be worth anything (its taken, I just wondered if resumes vs. cvs would make a different).

I think I'll throw a couple of scripts on it and turn it into a UK IT specific version of my www.jobresumes.net.

Thanks again, Sam

ps. mindful, I've got a few ideas come to mind for improving your appraisal tool - I'll post them in your thread later.
