When posting domain names for an appraisal it would help if you told us what it means...

Everyone loves to scream about TM issues...Again, I have sold TM'd names for anywhere between XXX-X,XXX. TM names sell everyweek as listed on DNJ. I have never once received a C and D notice. Alot of people that do get C and D notices have actually tried selling the name to the company which owns the TM.

With all that aside, I still see no value here. Unless it has a nice click rate..or even traffic for that matter.

TM is a valid negative with respect to appraisals due to the risk factor.

Its Kinda Like selling a house on a piece of land that might actually be owned by someone else. You may get away with it, but then again you could lose the lot and get a nice big fine at the end of it.

Agreed. That doesn't stop alot of buyers from buying TM names though. That's all I'm saying.

thanks for the comments. trademarks are a negative, but like godfrey mentioned, there are still buyers and sellers of these names.

If I can get some click revenue off it, or just outright sell it someone who wants to open a jabra communication store i'd be content!

So there is value in trademarked names, just don't go advertising it on the company's front lawn?? Example, Nintendo knows that wii names are out there and likes the extra attention and hype around the domain names created.

Nintendo already stated they are not sending any c and d letters to domain owners of wii names.....just a thought..

oh well..back to the drawing board..

thanks
