google shows over 1,000 pages but i really dont know if the word has any meanings..

i wish to get an appraisal here if possible, also for webgnat.com (140,000 pages form Google)

Surely what you want are *less* pages mentioning the word not more - otherwise you've more pages/content/links to fight against to get yours listed,

Its not like any of the pages actually contain *links* back to your chosen domains ...

Well, in this case we are talking about what i thought was just a "fantasy" name, having many links at google with this name usually means there is some interest about the name, if I or an eventual buyer want to setup a website it will probably be listed on top ( its a dot com domain and usually goes listed automatically, happened to me with "n2me.com") , easier to click to whoever seeks "jedee" thru google.
Of course this doesnt make the domain any stronger but its better than starting from zero or regging a "famous name" domain with a weaker extension (that will be lost in space among millions of links).
I partially agree with you about the other domain (webgnat) because its made by 2 words.
