I am a native German speaker and the domain doesn't make much sense to me. Something like
Aktuelle.info
Heisse.info
Heutige.info
Wichtige.info
...
would make more sense to me (that's: Current, hot, today's, important for the non-german speakers around here...).

ich gehe lieber zu einer die heisst: jetzt.info (now)
google.de shows over 24 mill. websites
yagoo.de shows 8.8 mill. websites
ALL extensions taken (.com,.net,.org,.biz,.us,.de,.at & .tv)
