Looking for some guidance on pricing this name. Unfortunately, I need to sell it and want to make sure that I am getting the appropriate amount of $.

This is a 3-letter .com domain name. In my opinion it has huge value, but I'm not an expert. It appears to me that everyone knows that Jr is the '2'nd in the list of generations...so Jr2 seems very appealing. Also, many famous and not-so-famous people are known as Jrs. Dale Earnhardt Jr., Martin Luther King Jr., even the US President is known as George Bush Jr. in many realms.

A search of Google reveals several products actually identified as JR2.

It can also stand for the initials of some famous people...Julia Roberts for example.

So...what do YOU think?

If you want to sell it to a reseller, I guess you could get $40 to $80 fairly easily.

If you want to sell it to an end user, but don't yet have someone asking to buy it, you will probably have to wait quite a while, or know some people who might be interested.

I would say end user value is probably $400 to $800, unless you find an end user with a real need for the name who can make it pay.

There are simply too many 3 character domains (or variations thereof) available on the market. Most 3 character domains are barely worth the registration fee, but with this one "Jr", I'd say it could be worth $100 or more.

Thank you all. Especially helpful was the JR2longername.com/.net suggestion. It made me realize that some targetted ground work was in order. Having now visited all 50 Secretary of State websites for the US, I have a list of over 150 companies that give major emphasis of 'Jr2' or 'JRR" in the name of their company. A little more work picking up contact information...and I'll have a nice list of folks from which to try to locate a few end users that want to lay claim to the fame. Thanks again!! Great site!
